Chris Page and I drove to Big Sur today. The day started out sunny, but as we traveled south, the fog started rolling in. By the time we got to Nepenthe restaurant, there was no view, so we watched the fog and the jays.
I'm finally beginning to understand Central Coast fog. It's not like the fog back east. It's more like a blanket of moisture that hangs over the bay. It can be quite beautiful, especially if it's not hanging over you.
