Sarah's elegant hand serves as a tray for shells found at a nearby beach, mostly limpets and Black Turban snails. The variety is astounding. There are very strict rules about taking things from the beach, so I am judicious about what I collect, usually just a few small shells and an occasional giant kelp holdfast.
