My dear friend Dave's mother, M, owns a house at Nonquitt, a private community on Buzzard's bay, begun, much like Pacific Grove, in the 1870s, with tents later supplanted by cottages - along with some mansions - on the Bay. It is a gorgeous place, kind of a combination of beach club and summer camp. D and Rico and I have had some wonderful times at N, whose very name evinces a deep state of relaxation and well-being.
