This is the egress at the Stevenson Adobe (site of the garden in the previous entry), Monterey, on the Path of History, with its little yellow buttons imbedded into the sidewalk, in several languages. There are a lot of very beautiful gardens tucked away around the city, in a more formal way than the hidden gardens of Carmel.
